British Actor Julian Sands Lost in Southern California Mountains: Missing Hiker in Adverse and Dangerous Conditions. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reports that British actor Julian Sands is one of two hikers currently missing in the mountains of Southern California due to recent winter storms.
Sands was reported missing by family on Friday in the Mount Baldy Bowl area of the San Gabriel Mountains outside Los Angeles. The 65-year-old Sands is said to be in good health, but authorities have warned that the snowy, windy, and icy conditions on Mount Baldy can be challenging even for experienced hikers.
Mount Baldy has seen over a dozen rescue missions in the past four weeks and two people have died from injuries after falling. Search and Rescue teams are actively searching for the missing hikers.
Missing Hiker Bob Gregory from Hawthorne, California: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Searching in Crystal Lake Area of San Gabriel Mountains. Another hiker, Bob Gregory from Hawthorne, California has been reported missing by his family on Monday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas station has been actively searching for Gregory in the Crystal Lake area, which is also a part of the San Gabriel Mountains.
